Historically offshore fishermen have indeed remained the same. We are still the restless band of outsiders that must take everything to the bona fide limit. Just as our fore fathers pushed the constraints of wooden boats, celestial navigation and imperfect mechanical technology, we now push the limits of gear that’s only equal

serves our armed forces and space programs. No longer do we chant songs to stay awake and
labor, we now plug in our IPods or tune in our satellite radios. Although our methodology and
reasoning may be shying away from killing for pleasure and provisions, man still has the urge to
conquer the vague and unknown.
It is this drive that besets our team, instituting itself as wonder when we were children; this force
is only nurtured with each trip beyond the 100 fathom curve. We fish Long and Hard. Our playing
field is not grass nor turf, but a calloused ocean with its own hardwired agenda. We have neither
Air Conditioning nor Blenders, only cutting edge gear made not for revelry but for fishing. Some
